Security & SIA First Aid Training

Learn how to deal with any First Aid situation you might encounter from instructors who have spent many years running nightclubs and bars in some of the more interesting areas of the country. This experience is backed up by Military First Aid treatment methods that have been proven time and again in the war zones of the world.

This course provides two qualifications: the Emergency First Aid at Work which is now the minimum requirement of the SIA, and the Knife Crime course which gives an enhanced skillset when it comes to dealing with stabbing and slashing wounds. A module on Acid Attacks is also included.

Violent Crime is on the increase and is only predicted to get worse, even in towns and cities that are considered fairly ‘safe’. It’s one of the most challenging work environments with ever changing levels of hazard and risk…and that’s before you start adding alcohol and other things to the mix! Even a full moon makes a difference.

Security and Doorstaff are often targeted purely because they represent authority and order. Add in the irrationality that can come with drink and drugs and a seemingly benign situation can escalate very quickly.
